Nice Loud Voices is a brand new production company/blatant vanity project from Brisbane writers, performers and improvisers Amy Currie and Drew Lochrie (plus some talented pals).

Amy Currie is the former artistic director of ImproMafia. She's performed as far afield as Beijing, New York, and Edinburgh, and has represented QLD at the Theatresports™ National Championships. Amy co-wrote and appears in Love/Hate Actually, a comedy showdown that's toured Australia since 2017 and played to sell-out crowds at the 2019 Edinburgh Festival Fringe. She plays Sybil as part of the Australian touring cast of Faulty Towers The Dining Experience and performs often with Act/React Theatre. Follow her theatrical adventures on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, or check out her freelance copywriting portfolio here.

Drew Lochrie is originally from the UK. Most recently, he played villain Billy Zane in Act/React Theatre’s Titanic: The Movie, The Play. He performs regularly with ImproMafia, and has appeared often at the Brisbane Comedy Festival. Drew played Judge Hathorne in Brisbane Arts Theatre’s The Crucible in 2018, and regularly performs original sketch and improvised comedy with Big Fork Theatre. Drew won Best Cabaret Performer at the 2017 Short+Sweet Festival QLD as part of a completely improvised act.
